This policy explains how Dance Studio "Quartier Latin" (1350 Rue Mazurette #404, Montreal, Quebec H4N 1H2) handles personal information, on mtldancestudio.com and when you contact or dance with us. It is our privacy governance policy under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

What this website collects
This website has no sign-up, no online booking, no contact form and no account. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and the site itself sets no cookies.
What we collect when you contact us
When you call, email or message us, we receive what you choose to share: usually your name, phone number or email address, and details about the lessons you want (for example a child's age for kids classes or your wedding date for a first dance). We use it only to answer you, plan and teach your lessons, and keep in touch about them.
Services that load on our pages
- Hosting (Netlify): our host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the site.
- Google Fonts: our fonts load from Google, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Google Maps: the map on our Contact page is provided by Google and may set Google cookies. Google's privacy policy applies to that map.
Links to other sites, such as Google Maps directions, Facebook or Instagram, follow those sites' own policies. Some of these providers may store data outside Quebec.
Who sees your information
Only the studio. We do not sell, rent or share personal information, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep contact details only as long as we need them to answer you or teach your lessons, then delete them. Access is limited to the studio owner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and withdraw your consent to its use. Send your request to al_al5@hotmail.com. We answer within 30 days.
